Australia’s new Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) reforms commenced on 1 July 2026, bringing new compliance obligations for real estate businesses and new roles and responsibilities.

AML/CTF Training, initial and ongoing, is also a large part of agency responsibility.  Mark this training down as part of your training obligation outlined by AUSTRAC once you attend.

With more than 30 years’ experience across agency ownership, franchise management and professional training, Trish understands the day-to-day realities of running a real estate business and the practical challenges agencies face implementing AML/CTF requirements.
